OUR POLICIES
A little note before we begin.
Every Lemon Poppy Design Co. order is created with care and attention to detail. These policies are here to make the process clear and ensure you know what to expect when working with me.
By placing an order or booking a custom stationery project with Lemon Poppy Design Co., you agree to the applicable policies below.

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve your wedding date or guarantee availability. Custom projects are considered booked once the required agreement and initial payment have been completed.
Project availability may be limited based on the wedding date, requested stationery, and current production schedule.

Payment details and due dates will be provided with your custom proposal before booking. Production will not begin until all required payments for that stage of the project have been received.

Custom stationery services include two rounds of design revisions unless otherwise stated.
Revisions may include reasonable adjustments to wording, colors, layout, or other elements of the approved design direction. Requests that significantly change the original design direction or require additional artwork may be considered additional design work and may result in an additional fee.
Additional revision rounds may also be available for an additional fee.
Semi-custom designs are personalized using an existing Lemon Poppy design. Names, wedding information, and wording may be personalized, but significant changes to the artwork, fonts, layout, or overall design are not included. Requests for substantial design changes may require a Custom Design service.

A digital proof will be provided for approval before your stationery is printed. Please carefully review all names, dates, times, locations, spelling, punctuation, addresses, and other information.
Printing will begin only after final proof approval has been received.
Once a proof has been approved, Lemon Poppy Design Co. is not responsible for errors contained in the approved design. If an error is made by Lemon Poppy during production and does not match the approved proof, I will work with you to correct the affected pieces.

Clients are responsible for determining the quantity needed before production begins. I recommend ordering approximately 10% extra for keepsakes, late additions, address changes, lost mail, or other unexpected needs.
Additional quantities or reorders requested after the original order has entered production will be treated as a separate order and may be subject to minimum quantities and additional production costs.
Ordering & Design

Lemon Poppy stationery is carefully printed and finished in-house. Because colors can appear differently between screens and printed materials, slight differences between digital proofs and the final printed product are normal.
Minor variations in color, texture, trimming, and placement may also occur as part of the printing and finishing process.

Paper, envelope, and finishing-touch options are subject to availability. Because materials may vary between suppliers or become unavailable, Lemon Poppy Design Co. may occasionally recommend a comparable alternative.
Custom clients will have the opportunity to review available material options before final selections are made.

Estimated design and production timelines will be provided before booking or ordering. Timelines may vary depending on the scope of the project, quantity, selected materials, revision process, and current production schedule.
Clients are responsible for providing requested information, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner. Delayed responses may affect the estimated completion date.

Orders shipped to the client will be carefully packaged to help protect the stationery during transit.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of Lemon Poppy Design Co.'s direct control. Lemon Poppy is not responsible for carrier delays or delivery issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the client.
Please contact Lemon Poppy promptly if your order arrives damaged so the situation can be reviewed.

Assembly and guest addressing are available according to the service selected.
With The Whole Shebang, Lemon Poppy Design Co. assembles the invitation suites, addresses the guest envelopes, applies the appropriate postage, and mails the completed invitations directly to the client's guest list.
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate guest names and mailing addresses. Lemon Poppy Design Co. is not responsible for invitations returned or undeliverable due to incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the client.

Postage is not included in the base price of The Whole Shebang.
Once a complete invitation suite has been assembled, it will be weighed and measured to determine the appropriate postage based on its final size, weight, thickness, and current mailing requirements.
Required postage will be calculated separately and must be paid before invitations are mailed.
Because mailing requirements can vary, Lemon Poppy Design Co. does not guarantee that a particular invitation will qualify for standard single-stamp postage.
Production & Delivery

Because wedding stationery is personalized and custom-produced, payments for work already completed and materials already purchased are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel a project before production begins, please contact Lemon Poppy Design Co. as soon as possible. Any refund eligibility will depend on the stage of the project and work already completed.
Once printing or production has begun, the applicable portion of the order is non-refundable.

Due to the personalized nature of wedding stationery, custom and personalized products cannot generally be returned or exchanged.
If your order arrives damaged or does not match your approved proof due to a Lemon Poppy Design Co. production error, please contact me promptly with photos and details so I can review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate wording, names, dates, addresses, photographs, monograms, and other information or materials requested for their project.
By providing photographs, artwork, logos, or other materials, the client confirms that they have permission to use those materials.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all original designs, illustrations, watercolor artwork, layouts, and other creative work created by Lemon Poppy Design Co. remain the intellectual property of Lemon Poppy Design Co.
Purchasing stationery provides the client with the finished products for personal use and does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork or design files.
Designs and artwork may not be reproduced, resold, altered, or used commercially without written permission.

Lemon Poppy Design Co. may photograph completed stationery for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. Personal information such as guest addresses will not be intentionally displayed.
If you would prefer that your stationery not be shared publicly before your wedding date, please let me know.
