Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions. Here you'll find a little more information about custom stationery, the design process, printing, and what to expect when working with Lemon Poppy Design Co.

  • The earlier, the better! Custom stationery takes time to thoughtfully design, revise, print, and prepare. When you submit an inquiry, I'll review your wedding date and what you're looking for to make sure your project fits within my current availability.

  • Lemon Poppy Design Co. currently offers custom Save the Dates, standalone wedding invitations, build-your-own invitation suites, and The Whole Shebang for couples looking for a more complete stationery experience. Select wedding-day paper goods are also available in sizes up to 8.5 × 11 inches.

  • Absolutely. You don't have to purchase pieces you don't need. Build Your Invitation Suite allows you to start with your wedding invitation and choose coordinating pieces such as detail cards, RSVP cards, jackets or wraps, additional inserts, and envelope options.

  • At this time, I specialize in stationery and smaller wedding-day paper goods. Printed pieces created in-house are available in sizes up to 8.5 × 11 inches, so large-format welcome signs, seating charts, and similar signage are not currently offered.

Custom Stationary

  • It starts with your inquiry. You'll tell me about your wedding, the stationery you're interested in, and your overall vision. From there, we'll discuss the details of your project before I begin designing. You'll have an opportunity to review your design and request revisions before anything goes to print.

  • Yes! That's one of the best parts of creating custom stationery. You'll have an opportunity to share your wedding colors, style, inspiration, and any ideas you already have during the inquiry and design process.

  • That's completely okay. You don't need to arrive with a finished vision. Share what you do know, your colors, venue, overall wedding style, or even a few inspiration images and we'll use those details as a starting point.

  • Yes. You'll receive a proof of your stationery to review and approve before your order is sent to print. It's important to carefully check names, dates, times, locations, spelling, and all other information during this stage.

Design & Ordering

  • Yes. Your custom stationery includes professional printing through Lemon Poppy Design Co. Once your final design has been approved, I'll take care of printing and preparing your order.

  • Standard orders are packaged and shipped directly to you with the coordinating pieces and envelopes. You'll be responsible for assembly, addressing, postage, and mailing unless you've selected an eligible mailing or assembly service.

  • Envelope addressing may be available as an add-on depending on your stationery package. Let me know if you're interested when submitting your inquiry, and we can discuss the options for your order.

  • Full-service assembly and mailing are available for select projects. If chosen, I'll prepare your stationery using the guest information you provide and coordinate mailing so there's one less thing on your wedding to-do list.
